A long time ago, two cats used to live in a village. Both were very good friends and both lived very fondly among themselves. Everyone gave an example of their friendship. Both of them were very happy. Whatever they get, they used to eat that together.
One day both the cats became very hungry while playing. They found a piece of bread.
They both wanted the bread as they were very hungry. They began to fight over it. one cat said, "I found it first its mine." Another cat said, "No I found it first, give it to me."
The first cat made two pieces of bread and give a piece to the second cat. Seeing this, the other cat again said, “What is this, you gave me a smaller piece. This is wrong.
A monkey on the tree was seeing them fighting over the bread and wanted to eat that bread too. He said, "Why are you quarreling? I can help you, I will settle your fight". "
Both cats got the idea of a monkey. She agreed. The Monkey split the bread into two uneven pieces. One piece was large and the other piece was small. "Hey, this piece is big, let's equalize both of them and as soon as he said this, he broke a little piece of the big piece and ate it."
In this way, monkey every time make the one piecce larger, he broke a little bread from that side and started putting it in his mouth. Both the cats were now terrified. She still quietly waited for the monkey's decision as they did not want to give each other more amount of breadbut when they saw that the pieces were too small, she said to the monkey, "Don’t you worry, now we will distribute bread on our own.”
The monkey said, "As you have seen that I have done the hard work of dividing bread so I must get the wages of my hard work". He ate the rest of the pieces of bread. The poor cats went on empty stomachs from there.
Both the cats then realized their mistake and they understood that fight with each other was very bad and others can take advantage of it.
Moral Of the Story:
When you quarrel someone else gains.
When two people fight the third one always gets the profit.
